Engineering Techniques, Inc. was founded by Dan Hotek in 1995 with the purpose of honoring God by providing the very best structural engineering services to our clients.
Dan Hotek, P.E., our principle engineer, has over forty years of combined structural engineering experience with Fluor Engineers, The Reinforced Earth Company and Engineering Techniques, Inc.
In designing all projects, we utilize creativity and sound engineering principles within the parameters of the applicable codes: IBC, IRC, ACI, AISC, ASCE7, NDS, AASHTO, AISI, UFC or MBMA. Zachary Nemec, PE
Structural Engineer
Zach has years of varied structural engineering experience after the completion of his degrees from Virginia Tech. He completed his Bachelors and Masters of Science in Civil Engineering with a structural engineering focus in 2014.
Kirk Milam
AutoCad Drafter
Kirk started in 2021 providing drafting services. Kirk has a background in technical support, and has utilized such knowledge in developing his skills as a drafter.
Carrie Robinson
Designer
Carrie has worked at Engineering Techniques since 2018 providing design and drafting services. She completed her Associate of Science degree in 2020.
Joanne Berta
Office Manager
Joanne's role as Office Manager is essential to our success in serving our customers and keeping us working as a cohesive team. Whenever there is a need, Joanne is there to fulfill it.
